- I'm a gardener, mother and an artist living in upstate New York. My favorite media to use is oil. I also work with watercolors, gouache, charcoal, pastels and watercolor pencils. On occasion I use acrylic paints. Nature is my best teacher. I love to paint hearts, bugs I see in the garden, flowers and abstracts. I also love to paint celestial and Halloween themes. All of the art I sell is original. I sell no prints.

I like it too, because the colors are so vivid. This is the only acrylic I've ever painted.
I just finished my latest painting that i will display next week. I am just waiting for the oils to dry, so I can paint the antenea on the butterfly. I hope you like it.
I am now starting my spring series. I will start with the tulip. Then the daffodil, pansy and then the orchid.
4 in all.

We need raincoats here today. even though I love sunshine, I also love to hear the rain. It's very healing and relaxing to hear the drops as they fall to the ground.

There are many things I want to grow.
As for painting, I do have many plans now. After my spring sereis I will paint Ivy a hello kitty painting for her room. I already have it all drawn on canvas.
Then I will start my garden friends series. Then I will begin my autumn and halloween series closer to fall. I will also be finishing a few unfinished paintings I've had laying around.
