- I'm a gardener, mother and an artist living in upstate New York. My favorite media to use is oil. I also work with watercolors, gouache, charcoal, pastels and watercolor pencils. On occasion I use acrylic paints. Nature is my best teacher. I love to paint hearts, bugs I see in the garden, flowers and abstracts. I also love to paint celestial and Halloween themes. All of the art I sell is original. I sell no prints.

ReplyDeleteI'm happy you like this painting. It is still very wet, I finished it this morning and it will take a few weeks to dry.
My bright red tulips are now just popping up from the ground!

Mine are halfway out of the ground, but it will be a week or two before they start blooming.
ReplyDeleteChou-Chou is taking a short cut from the flowerbed to the ground floor window to enter the house. I hope he won't trample down all those lovely tulips as he did with some of the daffodils.
He also pees in the flowerbed. Shame on him !
What a nasty tomcat ! He refuses to change his habits, too.

I am sure your garden is looking so pretty right now. My daffodils are just about to bloom. I hope we do not get a cold snap. If we do they will get freezer bite.

Today Chou-Chou stayed inside, oh wonders, although the sun was shining all day long. He took a long nap on the red sofa. Now he is ready to go out again.
