- I'm a gardener, mother and an artist living in upstate New York. My favorite media to use is oil. I also work with watercolors, gouache, charcoal, pastels and watercolor pencils. On occasion I use acrylic paints. Nature is my best teacher. I love to paint hearts, bugs I see in the garden, flowers and abstracts. I also love to paint celestial and Halloween themes. All of the art I sell is original. I sell no prints.

I'm happy you like this painting. It completes my garden critters series.
I usually see all of these bugs by the garden in the summer. They're pretty interesting to observe.

I'm trying something new on my art blog by changing the background, but some of the letters are not showing up. I may have to change it back to black if I can't darken the letters on my profile and the comment section. the comment icon is still there but hard to see now. hopefully I can fix this.
